Chocolate Readings & CMC Agency Presents
The Influencer Bestseller Book Project
Growing up in Virginia, being apart of Hollywood was never a dream for me. It was my just second home away from home - thanks to my parents’ divorce. Little did I know, Hollywood would be a gift and a curse.
From 804 to 818, I’ve lived, learned, and laughed along the way, and trust - I’ve got something to say! I’ve lived a double reality the last fifteen years as a talent and as a humble hustler. I’m ready to talk about what it took for me to live my truth out loud and unapologetically become who the world knows as Misster Ray - BET’s first-ever gay on-air talent featured on the third season of America’s first-ever black reality series, College Hill filmed at Virginia State University.
In my debut book, Mess in the Message, I openly share my journey of being born into black excellence, the struggle with meeting everyone’s expectations, getting molested, and what led to me being arrested, bullied, and on TMZ! Oh, and I also brew, pour, sip and share the tea about what it’s really like to be in Hollywood!
Now, my story may be a little dramatic and messy, but once you filter through the mess, you’ll catch the message.
